Im ULS Viewer sind application error folgende Einträge verzeichnet: Der interessante Teil, ist der folgende Eintrag: Application error when access /_layouts/15/AreaNavigationSettings.aspx, Error=Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have attached the screen shot of error which I am getting in Navigation Page (i.e. _layouts/AreaNavigationSettings.aspx) of SharePoint site. Could you check if under Site --> Settings you have a Navigation option? If you don't have it is normal to get that error share|improve this answer answered Oct 9 '13 at 11:42 Alvmad 1,8681130 Yes 'Navigation' option is already enable for this SharePoint site but still I am getting this error. –Kiran Viradiya Oct 9 '13 at 11:47 Try to create a Publishing site in an independet site collection.
