When I could run the program between the error pop ups, it was a long process and it resulted in a 2 day honeymoon. Then suddenly it reappeared. I just deleted the 3 McAfee SAService.exe files that I found through the "search for files" function, as I had read that on another site. Restarted the machine and viola! no pop up errors! After reading the info here, I believe too that it may be a McAfee related problem and I will also uninstall the site advisor to see if that keeps this from rec
