For example http://www.abc.com/morepages/…. In the URL above, the domain is "abc.com" and "morepages" is a http://timourrashed.com/how-to-fix-the-400-bad-request-error-message-from-a-website/ sub-site. The problem shows as the following: Bad Request Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. Cookie ----------------- Solution: It wasn't clear at first but the error message https://www.pctechguide.com/articles/correct-400-bad-request-ewrror is telling me exactly what the problem is (the keyword here ladies and gentlemen is "cookie") The problem was due to a cookie that has become corrupted. Not sure how it got that way but it seems that the last bad request time it was generated something went wrong. If you keep getting errors, then you may want to clear the cookies in your browser. You may have some outdated DNS records stored on your machine that are leading you to the wrong place. Therefore, you may want to clear your DNS cache if the problem persists. Clear your browser’s cache if you keep encountering the error. It could be that you have visited the page before and your browser has cached an incorrect version of the page. This is not a common fix for these types of errors, but since it is so easy to do, it is worth doing to be thorough. That is pretty much all you can do on your end to fix the 400 Bad Request Error. If the problem keeps occurring you are left with the prospect of contacting the web site owner or just waiting it out and seeing if it resolves itself. There may be a possibility that the owner is doing work on the website while you are trying to connect and the problem will be rectified later on.
