Bfme 1 Windows 8 Fix
you have a newly installed game and it crashes after the load-up logo follow this procedure to get it working. This is an old game, but the morons at EA don't give a damn about so many people having this error. This fix is not something I can take credit for as I found it while searching for a solution. The problem occours when the game does not create *.ini files and a map folder. It takes a minute to fix, but the lazy punks on EA just don't seem to care. I have never gotten this error before, and now every time I try to start up the game I cant, it stops and I recieve the message. This just started happening to me since I installed the newest ATI catalyst driver update. Since I thought it may have been a problem with the update, I rolled it back to the previous version where I had no problems. Here is a link to the error message, I took a SS of it. http://img86.exs.cx/img86/3673/exception5ke.jpg Thanks to ImageShack for Free Image Hosting Quote Decay View Public Profile Send a private message to Decay Find More Posts by Decay Angarah Feb 1st, 2005, 07:45 PM #3 Posts: 2,045 Join Date: Jan 2005 hmm doesnt really help me since i never updated anything since i got it..... anyone else know how to fix it?
