beeping \015 I have an HP xw 8200 workstation. When I push start It looks normal for about 3-5 seconds then I get a red power light, and a beeping can be heard. This system is a few years old and I just got it from my employer that just upgraded. Does this prob sound like a bad power supply? Or my SCSI Controller? Also the monitor act like its not connected, as well as the key board. The system had a wipe performed before I got it, so I even tried to boot from a xp os disk, still no work. However, it did try to read the disk but acts like it cant read it. All fans are working, all conectors seem to be connected and it looks like everything is still in the cpu. The disk works in my other computers. All my other computers are IDE so swaping parts won\342\200\231t work accept power supply which depending on what you suggest was my next step.\015 Answers : Check this link regarding the beep Repair Help & Product Troubleshooting for HP xw8200 PC Desktop Please enable JavaScript to view the comments powered by Disqus.
