I have a JAX-WS and was working totally fine, and I was adding couple more WS operations and it doesn't deploy anymore. I tried renaming the operation , commenting the code inside it , putting another one nothing work, I didn't change any settings. Code: http://forums.netbeans.org/topic12113.html /** * Web service operation */ @WebMethod(operationName = "Adder") public int Adder(@WebParam(name = "x") int x, @WebParam(name = "y") int y) { //TODO write your implementation code here: int z = x + y ; return z; } Below is the stack trace for the error. 11, 2009 7:18:32 PM com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.servlet.WSServletContextListener contextInitialized INFO: WSSERVLET12: JAX-WS context listener initializing May 11, 2009 7:18:33 PM com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.servlet.WSServletContextListener contextInitialized SEVERE: WSSERVLET11: failed to parse runtime descriptor: java.lang.Error: Undefined operation name Adder java.lang.Error: Undefined operation name Adder at com.sun.xml.ws.model.JavaMethodImpl.freeze(JavaMethodImpl.java:327) at com.sun.xml.ws.model.AbstractSEIModelImpl.freeze(AbstractSEIModelImpl.java:93) at com.sun.xml.ws.model.RuntimeModeler.buildRuntimeModel(RuntimeModeler.java:266) at com.sun.xml.ws.server.EndpointFactory.createSEIModel(EndpointFactory.java:322) at com.sun.xml.ws.server.EndpointFactory.createEndpoint(EndpointFactory.java:188) at com.sun.xml.ws.api.server.WSEndpoint.create(WSEndpoint.java:467) at com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.DeploymentDescriptorParser.parseAdapters(DeploymentDescriptorParser.java:253) at com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.DeploymentDescriptorParser.parse(DeploymentDescriptorParser.java:147) at com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.servlet.WSServletContextListener.contextInitialized(WSServletContextListener.java:108) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.listenerStart(StandardContext.java:3843) at org.apache.catalina.core.StandardContext.start(StandardContext.java:4342) at org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.addChildInternal(ContainerBase.java:791) at org.apache.catalina.core.Cont
