Ivan Krizsan Ranch Hand Posts: 2198 1 posted 6 years ago Hi! Have you tried examining the request(s) sent to your web service that causes this error using Wireshark or similar program? Then you could compare them (the requests that causes the error) with the requests from your standalone Java client to see what the difference is, if any. Best wishes! Thanks Raghu -----Original Message----- From: Davanum Srinivas [mailto:davanum@gmail.com] Sent: Wednesday, June 27, 2007 11:58 AM To: axis-user@ws.apache.org Subject: Re: [Axis2] org.apache.axis2.AxisFault: First Element must contain the local name, Envelope Raghu, I've reviewed the code in question..need more info. Can you switch on log4j based logging and upload the log in a JIRA? You have to edit commons-logging.properties and log4j.properties and put them in WEB-INF/classes and then hit the server with your client again. thanks, dims On 6/27/07, Raghu Upadhyayula
