caused by Veeam not able to freeze the guest machine in order to take hot backup. Others also experience slow veeam jobs and manual snapshot caused by consolidation and deletion. Solution: The solution is to edit the Veeam Backup Job in your Veeam Backup & Replication software and recalculate the virtual machines. To do this: 1. Open Veeam caused by file Backup & Replication 2. Right click on backup job 3. Click on edit 4. Click on Next 5. Click on Recalculate, this will recalculate virtual machine disks and register with veeam database. 6. Click Finish to exit. You should experience faster backup jobs and no more warnings. The CBT file tracks changes when doing block level backups and is enabled when you do your first backup. Changed Block Tracking (CBT) is a VMware feature that helps perform incremental backups. VMware Data Recovery uses this technology, and so can developers of backup and recovery software. You can find out more information here. You can safely ignore this error. However, if the issue continues, you will need to follow the instructions in KB1113.
