Have you tried placing that HTML file on a web server somewhere and using an http:// reference? -- http://www.aspfaq.com/ (Reverse address to reply.) "Tom_Nolan"

Is there a way to do include files in an email? For example, in my website, I use: to include my footer, header, cdo message 1 etc. I'd like to put a footer and header on my emails the same way, but was wondering if I could use an include of somekind so that if I have other applications that send out emails, I could use the same include file so if I made a change to the email footer, I wouldn't have to update all my different email code, just the include file? Thanks! I an using CDO, and I read about sending an html email that sends a web page, so I tried to implement it. I have my code that generates the email, that looks like this: Code: Set objMail = Server.CreateObject("CDO.Message") 'Set key properties objMail. From = sName & "<" & sFrom & ">" objMail. To = sTo objMail.Subject= sSubject 'send email from webpage objMail.CreateMHTMLBody "http://www.site.com/online_store/downloadable/download.asp?pin=" & pin 'Sen

My problem is this... if I pass bodyurl as a url with a domain name with no periods, it works, eg. "http://localhost/admin/default.asp" and "http://pluto" and "http://saturn/default.asp". These all work and the e-mail is received properly with the appropriate contents. If I pass bodyurl as "http://www.google.com" or "http://webdev.pluto/admin/default.asp", both of which are perfectly valid url's on our network, I get the following error: CDO.Message.1 error '800c0005' The system cannot locate the resource specified. /global_library/functions.asp, line 70 Here's the code from functions.asp. Line 70 is where CreateMHTMLBody is. Code: Sub SendPageAsMail(recip,cc,bcc, from, subject, bodyurl) Dim myMail Set myMail=CreateObject("CDO.Message") myMail.Subject=subject myMail. From=from myMail. To=recip myMail.CreateMHTMLBody bodyurl, 0 myMail.Send End Sub The web server is IIS5 on Windows 2000 Server with all updates installed. The only other peice of software on the machine is SQL Server 2000 Standard. I wasn't able to find any relevent information about this on the net, which is very unusual. Does anyone have any ideas as to what's going on? Thanks!!
