Citrix Print Manager Service Keeps Crashing

- unable to logon Started by Matthew Paler , 20 December 2011 - 01:16 PM Login to Reply 5 replies to this topic Matthew Paler Members #1 Matthew Paler 112 posts Posted 20 December 2011 - 01:16 PM I have a customer that has XenApp 5 on 4 Windows 2008 32 bit Servers, all patched to the latest hotfix. When I checked citrix print manager service terminated unexpectedly the services, the Citrix Print Manager Service would not start one 1 server. When I tried to start the Print Manager service, I got the error: Citrix print Manager service unable to start, error 1069 logon failure. I was able to manually change the password on the local computer account and it started. Every morning when I check this server the service is stopped and I have to manually reset the password. As a test I used the local admin account to login the service, everything worked but the next morning I got the logon failed. I retyped the local administrator password and it worked. So it is not changing the password or resetting it, it sounds like it is just losing the password. Anyone have a solution for this? There is not a utility that work on 2008 with XA5 to re-create the ctx_ accounts either.
