TECHNOLOGY IN THIS DISCUSSION Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now I have one PC that I'm about to deploy into service and I noticed the screensaver GPO was not kicking on.  I could not see any issues in the DC's event logs.  I ran rsop.msc on the client and computer determined got a red X on Computer Configuration.  Right-click->Properties->Error Information says Group Policy Infrastructure failed due to the error listed below:  Access is Denied. I checked the event logs on the client and see the following under GroupPolicy/Operational: 4017 Making system call to get account information 7017 The call failed after 0 milliseconds 7320 Error.  Retrieved account information.  Error code 0x5. 7320 Error.  Failed to register connectivity notification.  Error code 0x4ce. 7004 Manual computer determined to processing of policy failed for computer DOMAINNAME\computername$ in 1 seconds. This seems to be the only PC having this issue.  This PC was not joined to the domain initially, but in prepping it for a new hire, I did join it.  Just before I was set to put it into service was when I noticed the screensaver issue, which led me to check RSOP settings.  GPOs all seem fine, the issue seems specific to the client PC.  Any ideas?
