Environment, XenDesktop 7.5, Hypervisor XenServer 6.2, VDI workstation Windows 7 Enterprise. Issue exists when copying and pasting involving Citrix mapped drives, either local mapped drives or network mapped drives. When you copy from a Citrix mapped drive to a network mapped drive, the session disconnects. Upon reconnecting to the session there is an error that reads: An unexpected error is keeping your from copying the file. If you continue to recieve this error, you can use the error code to search for help with this problem.Error 0x800700F0: The session was canceled. It then allows you to copy. If you copy from regular mapped drives inside the VM there is no issues. It only happens when interacting with Citrix mapped drives. It also happens when you try to copy and paste from a Citrix mapped drive to the same drive, or to another Citrix mapped drive. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated 1316-353785-182install properly if another version is already installed. Check to see if you have another Citrix client already installed under Add/Remove programs (Metaframe or Citrix in the name). Do not remove the existing Citrix client without first checking to see if another application on your computer uses the existing client. Delete cookies and files in your browser. After clicking on a Citrix application in the menu or Quick Launch, the session window will not open. Disable any popup blockers in your browser and in any toolbar such as (Google or Yahoo). IE 7, IE 8 , IE 9 - Set your Intranet Zone security setting to default "Copy error 800" You need to have administrative rights to install applications on the computer Unable to download ICA client or the client will not launch IE 7, IE 8 , IE 9 - Make sure "https://www.myvirtualworkplace.org" is in your Local Intranet zone under security settings. To add www.myvirtualworkplace.org to a security zone: Open Internet Explorer. Navigate to www.myvirtualworkplace.org. Go to Tools -> Internet options. Click the Security tab. Then, click the security zone, Local Intranet. Click Sites. Click Advanced. In the Add this website to the zone: field, enter *.myvirtualworkplace.org. Click Add. Save / Apply your changes.
