error [Resolved] Cannot create folder error acekin @acekin 9 months, 3 weeks ago When I attempt to run BackWPUp Free, it gives me an error message that it cannot create a folder inside /wp-content/uploads . However, it can create a temporary folder OK. I checked the folder permissions for uploads and it is 755. Without this hurdle, it cannot backup anywhere, e-mail, DropBox or simple local folder. I have changed the permissions for /wp-content/uploads folder to 775 and BackWPUp worked. It can save to a folder or upload to DropBox.
