this article: This article shows you how to create customised error pages on your website on your Linux cPanel service. These can be very useful for retaining visitors who have come to your Web site via an out of date or mistyped link, as well as creating a more professional look for your Web site. How to create a Customised Error page: Firstly you should log into the cPanel Control Panel for your Web hosting account and scroll to the Advanced section. Click Custom Error Pages. Next select the domain you wish to create custom error pages and click Go. You will be presented with a list of the error pages you can edit. Clicking on the name of the error page will allow you to edit it. For example to edit the 404 error page click the link 404. You will now be presented with a large box where you can fill in the code for your error page. You can insert code snippets (e.g. requested URL is useful in a 404 error page) by clicking the relevant buttons at the top. Server side includes can be used (e.g. to include a unified page header). Once you are happy with the design of the page then fill in the file name in the box Save as: (generally you would not change this from what is there already) and click the Save button.
