Here is a brief description of events. Windows vista started running slow whilst browsing the web. As we had had a similar problem earlier this year. A problem/virus I rectified with rootkill and caused by Antivirus suite (virus). I decided to run the rootkill programme in safe mode and started up the Malware Antivirus software (all in safe mode). The Malware software located 22 infections. These were subsequently cleaned / quarantined. I attempted a normal restart and the system came up with blue screen and crash dump.
