General Settings in Game are http://paradigmer-fm2011.blogspot.com/ optional but I recommend you use these settings to prevent errors: Uncheck the following boxes: + Use Skin Cache + Enable Data Collection (This is an important one, it will stop FM constantly building up the RAM useage and prevent Crash Dumps) + Play in Windowed Mode, Minimize, and Maximize Every Hour. + Disable sounds, and 3D cameras, the 3D sucks anyway text all the way. + Play with Autosave weekly, 3 file rolling save for back ups, better safe than sorry. + Uncheck Threading, if you have a Dual Core processor, you do not need this to be checked, it takes away a complication. However if you have one processor with Threading technology keep it ticked, other wise the game performance will be poor. 0 Igor Subotic 13 Nov 2010 A numbers of users, both on our website and on SI forums, complain about problems that make it unable to continue the game. Sports Interactive has decided to make an official announcement on how to http://www.footballmanagerblog.org/2010/11/si-suggests-solution-to-crash-dumps.html deal with this problem. As you know, graphic addons from the previous game versions work with the latest Football Manager, which allows the users to copy the graphics folders to a new directory without having to download all the files again. It turns out however that using the graphic packs from FM 2009 and FM 2010 very often causes crash dumps problems in FM 2011. One of SI crash dump programmers - Neil Brock suggests that the users experiencing such problems remove custom folders with graphic packs. SI forum users did what was suggested but the method does not seem to work for all of them. For some, the crash dumps problems disappear, for others not. Therefore, the mentioned method is not 100% effective but you can still give it a go, of course. Maybe you will get crash dumps football lucky.
