Cannot Copy Data Error Cyclic Redundancy Check Dvd
Ratings: +14 Hi folks. Looking for some help here for those of you experts in DivX playback. (Posted this in the massive NS76 thread but removed to it's own as it might data error cyclic redundancy check external hard disk be just a DivX problem in case anyone has seen the first post) I'm trying to play AVI files on a Sony DVP-NS76H, which I understand should be possible. I've tried burning both DVD-R and DVD+RW disks. i've tried burning with both Nero 6 and Deepburner. I've also tried using Nero to burn DVD-UDF, DVD-UDF/ISO, DVD-ISO, DVD-ISO with only ISO9660 (i.e. no Joliet). Every jfilerecovery single time it will display the 'track' name or whatever the correct terminology is, which is just the name of the avi file. Then i get DATA ERROR (DivX) when i try and play it. I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what :-( I'm currently assuming it's something I'm doing on the burning of the DVD. The DVD player manual does say it may have problems playing data DVDs written in Packet Write format, but I've tried everything (I think). Anyone out there who can help ? Martin. While the above answers may be correct I am wondering if the files are larger than 4GB and you are using FAT32, which can't handle files larger than 4GB.
