For example: echo(gzdeflate('test')); outputs +I-. But when I try to echo(gzinflate('+I-.'));

it only outputs Warning: gzinflate() [function.gzinflate]: data error Is there something I'm missing? Why is it outputting this error rather than test? php share|improve this question asked Jun 2 '10 at 9:51 Rob 2,375154890 add a comment| 1 Answer 1 active oldest votes up vote 4 down vote accepted The output of $s = gzdeflate('test'); for ($i=0; $i error [Resolved] Getting a gzinflate(): warning: wp-includes\class-wp-http-encoding.php:58 - gzinflate(): data error data error Nico Ryan @pilotnick 6 wp_remote_get months, 1 week ago Hi, The Sendgrid plugin is network activated and is generating a gzinflate(): data error. I also opened a support ticket on your website over a week ago and have still heard nothing back. Marcio Marim @marciomarim 6 months ago Yes, me too. I was also having 1-2 seconds of delay because of hhtp requests happening on all my admin pages. So I recently uninstalled the plugin and installed WP Sendgrid. Nico Ryan @pilotnick 6 months ago Hey SendGrid! Seriously! Are you not going to respond to this error at all? You've completely ignored this question that make connections all over the world. Any ideas? I am on Acquia with PHP 5.5. On my dev box (Ubuntu 12.04) this works fine (no errors). Log in or register to post comments Comment #2 serg2 CreditAttribution: serg2 commented August 7, 2014 at 11:05am I am getting this warning too. I tried both 7.x-1.14 and 7.x-1.14+18-dev .Warning: gzinflate(): data error in httprl_decode_data() (line 2374 gzinflate(): data error of /home/example/public_html/sites/all/modules/httprl/httprl.module). The code it refers to is : // Decompress if compressed. elseif (isset($result->headers['content-encoding'])) { if ($result->headers['content-encoding'] == 'gzip') { $result->data = gzinflate(substr($result->data, 10)); } elseif ($result->headers['content-encoding'] == 'deflate') { $result->data = gzinflate($result->data); } } The warning message is created x 2 when drupal's internal cron is run. There are various comments at http://php.net/manual/en/function.gzinflate.php about this function and the need to strip part of the result. My PHP is too weak to actually understand it though... I am using PHP 5.5. I have other sites using the same server which do not produce the error.
