Environment: DB2 v6, OS/390 v2.10 Scenario: - An insert trigger exists that will insert a row into table B after an insert into table A. - Table B is dropped and recreated (to add a new column). - The package for the trigger becomes invalid. - An insert is performed on table A causing the trigger to fire. The insert fails with the following message: DSNT408I SQLCODE = -723, ERROR: AN ERROR OCCURRED IN A TRIGGERED SQL STATEMENT IN TRIGGER DLVBA1CL.CLDRGT1A, SECTION NUMBER 2. INFORMATION RETURNED: SQLCODE -904, SQLSTATE 57011, AND MESSAGE TOKENS 00E30305,00000801,DLVBA1CL.CLDRGT1A.16F DSNT418I SQLSTATE = 09000 SQLSTATE RETURN CODE DSNT415I SQLERRP = DSNXEAAL SQL PROCEDURE DETECTING ERROR DSNT416I SQLERRD = -150 0 0 -1 0 0 SQL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION DSNT416I SQLERRD = X'FFFFFF6A' X'00000000' X'00000000' X'FFFFFFFF' X'00000000' X'00000000' SQL DIAGNOSTIC INFORMATION The -904 (reason code 00E30305) points to the package for the trigger. The reason code refers to a failure on the automatic bind. After the failure, I can rebind the package and the trigger works fine (there were no changes to table B that would effect the trigger). Does anyone have any insight into why the automatic rebind would fail for an invalid package for a trigger? But, other than that, I think that I reproduced your situation, but I did not have the problem that you desc
