I recently upgraded to windows 8, and ever since then I haven't been able to run the game. Dead Space 2 works fine when I start it up. Part of me thinks that the problem is deeper then just the operating system however, simply due to the error message itself. Heres the computer I'm using- it deffinetly used to work before.Dell xps 8300i7 quad core 2600 cpu 3.4 ghz12gigs ramAMD Radeon HD 6770 GraphicsWindows 8 pro edition I don't think any other specs will be necisary for this issue. Thanks so much for the help, it seems like all the relevant information is coming up for DS2, which again works fine for me. I've looked on Google and tried all the fixes for a few pages. My drivers are fine, my GPU is fine, my game isn't corrupt, the stupid quickfixes don't work.I tried deleting settings.txt but the game doesn't launch enough to even create one so that doesn't work either. < > Showing 1-15 of 55 comments vadike View Profile View Posts 9 Dec, 2013 @ 10:36am Try:1.
