Decryption Error At The Server

Unexpected Decryption Error Diablo 3
Searching the internet for this error, brings up many possible resolutions but none have worked for me. I've even replaced my router - going from a Linksys to a Netgear to an Asus, experiencing the issue with all of them. I've also performed the suggested fix here (though the error message isn't exactly the same): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/323497 I'm running Windows XP SP3 on a Dell E6410. My co-workers all do the same work as I do, and log into the same systems and none of them are having this issue, so it's not server-related. Its something on my PC. Any ideas would be appreciated. It's just a matter of time 'til this results in a disaster for my customer if I get disconnected while running some long scripts. Whether it is server nicdrivers, user nic drivers or infrastructure. My router settings remain pretty simplistic so perhaps that is why I've never encoutered the problem. I have the same problem with remote desktop connecting and then immediately disconnecting with the "error in data encryption" message previously listed. I travel and use my laptop to connect to my home system frequently, and it usually works fine. However, I am currently having the same problem again. Interestingly, the two times (actually I should really say two locations) that I have experienced this problem have both been while trying to connect from my hotel room (two different hotels, two different cities). Even more perplexing is the fact that at other hotels it works fine, and at both of the locations where I've had the problem, I can connect just fine at the training centers where I'm at during the day. I am makin

We have hundreds of servers, and I have yet to experience this on one decryption error of our physical servers.I've tried a number of things, changing the NIC's on both ends from Autonegotiate to 100MB/Full Duplex. Setting the RDP Protocol to client, or low level encryption. I also followed the Microsoft KB articles to resolve this issue, and that didn't work.http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;323497http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257894I really need to resolve this ASAP, as most of our clients need to access the systems via Remote Desktop or connection decryption error terminal services.Thanks. 2149Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Hate to suggest this as a fall back, but have you tried reinstalling the latest SP that's been on that box?Is this a new thing?Only on one VM or on all VMs?One host or all?I'd also start looking for recent application/service installs in the event viewer. Might find something to glob onto that will provide a direction.Happy hunting.Jim Like Show 0 Likes (0) Actions 2. connecting to Remote Computer July 17, 2011 by Saqib Leave a Comment While trying to connect to a Windows 2000 or Windows 2003 server, using remote desktop, you may get this error: "The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop client access licenses available for this computer. Please contact the system administrator". This issue can be caused by an expired Terminal services license or for some other reason. Here is the solution for this problem: Windows XP users, click on Start > Run and type regedit and press Enter. Windows Vista and Windows 7 users, click on start and directly type regedit Navigate (Expand) to the following registry key (Please take utmost care here, as the changes made cannot be undone, until and unless you have taken a backup of registry files) : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE - Software - Microsoft - MSLicensing
Right click on MSLicensing folder and click on Delete. The problem should now be solved. Now restart the computer and try again to connect to the remote server. If you again get an error such as "The remote computer disconnected the session because of an error in the licensing protocol", then don't worry, here's the solution again. Right click the "Remote Desktop Connection" icon and click on "Run as administrator". That's it. The issue should now be fixed.
