I am running the latest version of the 10 software. I have taken the following steps to try to alleviate the problem but still get the message: (1) restart the computer (2) shutdown and restart the computer (3) drag my VOBs into the Media Tab (4) import my VOBs via the media browser (then both dragging and using the + button) (5) re-save

each VOB with MPEGStreamclip so Toast reads each VOB on its own rather than as stream. All of these steps and I still get the error 39 message, which seems to happen at the end of the multiplexing process, so Toast doesn't begin the encoding process. This is *not* a commercial rip; it is a recording of a sports program. The DVD is PAL but that shouldn't be a problem. The only thing I can think of is that I dragged and dropped the VOBs from the DVD because it had an RM folder and those folders cause problems for Toast. But I have circumvented the RM folder before by dragging and dropping and never hand any problems as long as the VOBs were fine. Anyone have experience with this quirk and have a recommendation beyond uninstalling and re-installing. You mention many of the options I've suggested but I'm not sure if you executed them correctly. If you still have the DVD or the complete VIDEO_TS folder you can use the DVD setting in the Media Browser to access the titles and extract them by dragging them to the Toast window.
