I have moved all of 'My Documents', insufficient disk space 'Music', 'Pictures' and 'Downloads' to a back up drive to free as much space as possible. Thanks in advance for your help. In this case, it's necessary to restore the varoious libraries (music, videos, etc.) to the original locations (under "users") before proceeding with the reinstall.Zig Top ljpitcher Newbie Posts: 3 Joined: Thu Sep 03, 2015 3:17 am The number in the middle: 24 Re: Error 0x2A717314 - Insufficient Disk Space Quote Postby ljpitcher » Thu Sep 03, 2015 3:21 pm Hi Zig,Those libraries have not changed location - I have moved the files to decrease the necessary space for migration, but not the library folders themselves.I was going to point the new library files on the SSD to the backup locations (a second HDD) after installation.Any other suggestions, please? I have my FCP capture scratch and rendered m2v files on one drive (13GB of free space) and am encoding my assets to my main drive (53 GB of free space). I'm making a four disk wedding video and am only building the disks at the moment not burning. I have encoded and built three of the disks without much trouble. When I've gone to build the fourth one it says insufficient disk space. I presume that 53 GB is sufficient. Even so I've tried freeing up more space but I get the same message. In the meantime I've notice an error I made on one of my builds so I scraped the folder and am rebuilding the disk as I write. No error message. There is plenty of disk space for the one I'm rebuilding now so why isn't there enough for the fourth disk? Not sure why you are rendering if you have m2v files? Also in general best not to render/build or otherwise use your main drive (assuming boot drive?) for anything other than running apps..better performanceThere is plenty of disk space for the one I'm rebuilding now so why isn't there enough for the fourth disk?
