When I try to run setup.exe it fails. When I try to uninstall via Add/Remove programs the system reboots and Office is still installed. If you cannot uninstall office from control panel, you can refer to this KB article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 Hope that helps. To have to take those steps while deploying Office 2010 on an enterprise level takes away the ROI of the SCCM. Does anyone have a root cause for this type of error so that pro-active steps can be takenand the SCCM install is successful? Tuesday, August 02, 2011 3:52 PM Reply | Quote 0 Sign in to vote Hi, You can take a look at the response from Will here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/officesetupdeploy/thread/b596046a-1105-420f-8a4c-60c52d9f1663 It looks like it is a problem that only exists if the install is upgrading older versions of Office, so I am now looking at uninstalling Office 2003 befre installing 2010.
