It's done this a couple times now and I have no idea how to fix it...In reading some posts online, someone suggested disabling the UpNp setting on my router which I did, but that did not change anything-Like I said I've never really tweaked any settings on the PS3- it always has found the Linkstation with no issues or adjustments to settings-Thanks for any

The problem has nothing to do with the PS3 directly, although a change to the DLNA client code in System 3.72 may be the catalyst of the problem. It is either an issue on the LinkStation, or in the network. Probably the LinkStation. The uPnP setting is irrelevant. The LinkStation is on the same network as the PS3, so the router isn't using NAT; and therefore isn't using uPnP. A common cause is a plu

"Media Server Error: A DLNA protocol error (2110) has occurred" followed by "Media Server Error: A DLNA protocol error (2101) has occurred" and instead of the episode list I get "There are no titles." This also affects the "Recently http://community.us.playstation.com/t5/Support-General/DLNA-Protocol-Error-2101/td-p/36328699 Aired" and "Recently Added" folders due to episodes of the show being included in those lists as well. Looking at the server logs it seems the DLNA server dies and restarts when this happens. The show in question is Conan (as in the talk show on TBS). The only particularly unique thing about this show that I can think of is that when I did the original library scan it matched on Conan, an apparent Conan the Barbarian TV https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/40836/ps3-dlna-protocol-error-2110-has-occurred show, I then had to "Fix incorrect match" in Plex Media Manager. I thought originally that perhaps the parentheses in the filenames (e.g. "Conan (2010) - S01E01 - Guest Name Here.avi") might be problematic, but I have other shows named similarly that work fine. The server is v0.9.6.0.11 running on Ubuntu 11.04 and there doesn't seem to be any issue on the other (non-DLNA) clients I've tried (Windows and Android). I've attached what I think are the relevant logs. I think 2101 is just a timeout due to the helper crashing. You can remove the plugin so MediaLink will at least work, if without thumbnails. Go to the following location, either on your HDD, or from your home directory depending if it's installed for all users or just you: 1. Go to Library/PreferencePanes 2. Right click MediaLink.prefPane, Show Contents 3. Go to Contents/Resources/MediaLinkHelper.app/Contents/PlugIns 4. Remove AlbumArtTranscoder.mltranscoder Hopefully the guys at NullRiver are on top of this and can get it sorted Edit: I should add, the crash only applies

I have also installed the latest add-on for ReadyDLNA_4.1.5_0.4. Anytime I try to access a file off of my media share (video, music, or pictures), I get a "a DLNA protocol error 2101 has occurred" on the PS3 and shows no files in any of folders (video, music, or pictures). I have rebooted the ReadyNAS then rescanned the files with no luck. Initially, when I first setup my PS3 to use the ReadyNAS, I played a couple video clips and for a few seconds which worked fine. On the 3rd video clip, I started getting the error message above on the PS3 so I went ahead with the add-on and now it seems I can't even see the files now while still receiving the error message. Please let me know what information you need to help solve this issue. Thank you.
