2006 when accessing video from my PC. After reading much and trying various solutions what worked for me was simply disabling and enabling the option of media server under network settings on the PS3. After doing this i now can watch video without the DLNA error 2006, thanks. I put this down to streaming from an external hardrive that is connected to my PC. I've more or less given up on both the PS3 and 360 as a media streamer. The best option I've found is to copy the file over to the HDD and play it locally. Think I'll go down the HDD upgrade route but that's a bit of a mess around really. "But our trip was different.
