After connecting the PS3 directly to the cable modem, dlna protocol error 2006 ps3 fix the PS3 worked fine. So we then knew the problem had to be with the Linksys router configuration. After checking out the router settings, we figured out that UPnP was enabled. The UPnP feature is

supposed to automatically grant permission to devices to access needed network resources. It doesn't always play well with certain devices though. So we disabled UPnP with these steps: Login to the Linksys router's admin panel. You can usually get there by opening a web browser and going to "http://192.168.1.1" (usually this is the IP address used, but it may be different depending on your configuration) in a web browser. Go to

"Connectivity" in the left pane. Click the "Administration" tab. Uncheck "UPnP" to disable it. Select "OK", and you're done. If you have a router from a different brand, check the user guide for information on how to disable this feature. I think 2101 is just a timeout due to the helper crashing. You can remove the plugin so MediaLink will at least work, if without thumbnails. Go to the following location, either on your HDD, or from your home directory depending if it's installed for all users or just you: 1. Go to Library/PreferencePanes 2. Right click MediaLink.prefPane, Show Contents 3. Go to Contents/Resources/MediaLinkHelper.app/Contents/PlugIns 4. Remove AlbumArtTranscoder.mltranscoder Hopefully the guys at NullRiver are on top of this and can get it sorted Edit: I should add, the crash only applies to 2.0A1. If you're having this on ot

PS3: DLNA Protocol Error (2110) has Occurred HipToday Posts: 18Members April 2012 in DLNA I'm not sure if this is actually limited to the PS3, but it's the only DLNA client I have. Anyway... When I try to browse the folder of a particular TV show on my PS3 I'm getting the error "Media Server Error: A DLNA protocol error (2110) has occurred" followed by "Media Server Error: A DLNA protocol error (2101) has occurred" and instead of the episode list I get "There are no titles." This also affects the "Recently Aired" and "Recently Added" folders due to episodes of the show being included in those lists as well. Looking at the server logs it seems the DLNA server dies and restarts when this happens. The show in question is Conan (as in the talk show on TBS). The only particularly unique thing about this show that I can think of is that when I did the original library scan it matched on Conan, an apparent Conan the Barbarian TV show, I then had to "Fix incorrect match" in Plex Media Manager. I thought originally that perhaps the parentheses in the filenames (e.g. "Conan (2010) - S01E01 - Guest Name Here.avi") might be problematic, but I have other shows named similarly that work fine. The server is v0.9.6.0.11 running on Ubuntu 11.04 and there doesn't seem to be any issue on the other (non-DLNA) clients I've tried (Windows and Android). I've attached what I think are the relevant logs.
