then freeze at about 32 percent. At other times it would throw an error dlna protocol error 2110 saying DNLA Protocol Error 2101. We could access the PlayStation Store without a problem though. After connecting the PS3 directly dlna protocol error 401 to the cable modem, the PS3 worked fine. So we then knew the problem had to be with the Linksys router configuration. After checking out the router settings, we figured out that UPnP was https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/41561/ps3-dlna-protocol-error-2110-has-occurred enabled. The UPnP feature is supposed to automatically grant permission to devices to access needed network resources. It doesn't always play well with certain devices though. So we disabled UPnP with these steps: Login to the Linksys router's admin panel. You can usually get there by opening a web browser and going to "http://192.168.1.1" (usually this is the IP address used, but it may be different depending http://www.technipages.com/ps3-dlna-protocol-error-2101-fix on your configuration) in a web browser. Go to "Connectivity" in the left pane. Click the "Administration" tab. Uncheck "UPnP" to disable it. Select "OK", and you're done. If you have a router from a different brand, check the user guide for information on how to disable this feature. However, nothing has changed except for the firmware update on my part. For some apparent reason, it just doesn't like the media streaming from TVersity though I haven't really tried any other streaming software. Really do feel it's the firmware drivers for the wifi in the PS3. boon88, Dec 7, 2008 Dec 9, 2008 at 10:59 AM dilfred, Dec 9, 2008 #32 dilfred Active Member Joined: May 25, 2007 Messages: 364 Products Owned: 0 Products Wanted: 0 Trophy Points: 21 Location: Telford, Shropshire Ratings: +23 Ashworth2002 said: ↑ Hi, I am new to this, but I use my PS 3 for streaming from my PC using windows media player 11 since the 2.50 update I have been getting an error on my PS3 'A DLNA Protocol Error (7522) has Occurred' when I try to stream my music, streaming photo's & video's are no problem, has any once come across this one, if so how do you get round it.Click to expand... PS3 thinks its hard-wired, but isn't as its going through the adapter. Intially, I set the PS3 to obtain an IP address via DHCP, and automatic for everything. In this configuration the PS3 disconnected from the media server, like I experienced when using the PS3's internal wireless. So I changed the PS3 to have a manually configured IP address, man
