Is it possible the upgrade coincided with some change to the network? Are there any errors in the Plex DLNA Server.log? Is the DLNA server process staying up? 0 andy@143wv.com Posts: 9Members, Plex Pass July 2013 Hi, Nothing changed on the network and all is connected via Gigabit switch. I'm actually a network engineer so know I've got all of that side perfect. Am just re-adding the sections back to the Library and will let you know how I get on. Thanks, Andy 0 andy@143wv.com Posts: 9Members, Plex Pass July 2013 Hi, Just had the error again with my Movies section. Quick question, how do I get the log out of the Plex on the Synology? It doesn't allow me to copy and paste. Thanks, Andy 0 schmertzin Posts: 2Members November 2013 Hello everybody. No news about the 2006 error? I'm asking cuz I have a folder named 'Videoclips' with thousands of files and everytime I try to browse this folder on Plex using my PS3 I receive a "2006 error" and cannot see any file. Any tips to help me? Thanks a lot, cheers from Brazil. Mary. 0 schmertzin Posts: 2Members November 2013 Btw, I'm on a wi-fi network. I received the DLNA error 2006 when accessing video from my PC. After reading much and trying various solutions what worked https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/74903/dlna-error-2006-on-ps3 for me was simply disabling and enabling the option of media server under network settings on the PS3. After doing this i now can watch video without the DLNA error 2006, thanks. On my PS3 it takes http://www.universalmediaserver.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2395 30 seconds or more to list the files in a directory, and sometimes just times out with a DLNA 2006 error. I'll try your suggestion, but if I run PS3 Media server I don't have these issues, so it seems like it's a UMS problem not a PS3 problem. Anyway, when I had this problem I found another fix.Go into Network and Sharing center, go to change adapter settings (or whatever you have for adapter settings), open the router, properties, configure, find the advanced tab, go to speed, it should be set to auto, change it to 100 (I changed it to 100 full duplex, I have no idea what the full or half duplex is)And that's it, after I made that change everything loads in an instant now. Good luck.EDIT:OOOOK, it seems that routers come equipped with a bunch of other options that will also slow down your connection speed. Weird. So in the same area I disabled "green ethernet" "energy efficient" and "flow control." The first 2 for sure have spe

When I originally set up my PS3, I could stream videos, music, photos, etc from my PC to my PS3. For some reason, I am now getting the "DLNA Protocol error 2006" when I try to dlna protocol error connect to my media server. It doesn't even detect the media server right now. I do have internet access though...that's not an issue. I am running Windows XP and using Windows Media Player 11. I have googled this topic several times, but I'm finding that I'm led all over the place...some of the info is a couple years old...It's just not working out. I can't pinpoint the exact time that this started, but the only two major things that have happened to my pc around that time are I installed Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 and I had a prolonged power outage where my internet required being set up again by the provider. Any suggestions? Thanks! Long may your big jib draw, me ol' cocky! Reply With Quote 02-03-2010,07:31 PM #2 SaskNewfie View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Stunned as me arse!
