I was having trouble getting Netflix to work on my PS3. It kept giving me an error message every time I tried to open the Netflix application. I tried many other troubleshoots, but this was the only solution that actually worked. Now I'm back to watching my shows on Netflix. Thanks again! Options Mark as New Bookmark Subscribe Subscribe to RSS Feed Highlight Print Email to a Friend Report 241 replies 11148 views Edited May 15, 2009 The errors (80710102, 80710103, and 80028EA5) https://www.wiknix.com/how-to-fix-playstation-dns-error-80710102/ are DNS errors. Personally, I have had the first two, and the solution here has worked for both of them. I hope that this will help get some of you back up and running on the PSN.The solution dns error may lie in the threads that NexVision and nlong2 have been posting around here (sorry if someone else was the originator).I believe you must change your current DNS address(es). There are many services out there that offer free DNS routing --- OpenDNS is one. Their information is below.Change your DNS settings to the OpenDNS servers:208.67.222.222208.67.220.220The above DNS servers are offered free from https://www.opendns.com/start/.(Interet Explorer may be best for viewing the site.)Okay, you have two options here to change cannot connect to your DNS address(es). You can change them in your router, or you can change them on each individual device (PS3). I should note that changing them on the PS3 did not fix 80710102 for me, though it did for others. However, changing them on the PS3 did solve error 80710103 for me. Changing them on the router fixed both errors for me. (Special thanks to TheWorld360 for pointing out the ability to change them on your PS3.)Method 1 (easier): PS3From your PS3's XMB, navigate to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection SettingsChoose "Custom"Then choose your connection type (wired or wireless). Continue through the setup (usually just selecting the default settings) until you get to "DNS Setting".At "DNS Setting", choose "Manual". Here, you will enter the OpenDNS server addresses. In "Primary DNS", enter 208.67.222.222In "Secondary DNS", enter 208.67.220.220Continue to the end of the setup (again, likely using the default, already selected values).Test the connection when you get to the end, and pray for the best!Method 2 (a bit more involved, but still not difficult): RouterFor detailed steps on how to do this with your specific router model click this link to go to OpenDNS's setup page:LINKBasic Walkthrough:Leave your PS3's Internet Connection Settings alone (usually set to automatic).Locate the IP address of your router. For example’s sake, mine is a D-Link DI-604 with IP 192.168.0.1Open a web browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer for
