There is no AD Replication going on (none that I setup anyway). In the article above it says in the WORKAROUND that we "may safely ignore the event ID 6702 Error event". However, if dns 6702 error it was only a matter of ignoring this error we may never have discovered the error in the first place. Would following the WORKAROUND make any difference to the drop outs in broadband? If so, then what exactly is the procedure (I have attached a number of images that might help here). I would try concurrent continuous pings before and through one of these dropouts as follows: - Server (by name and by IP); - If your switches are addressed, whatever switches are between you and the server (by IP); - ISP gateway (strictly by IP); - A known good host on the Internet (by name and by IP). As said, all the above concurrently. That makes a total of 5 concurrent a
