Try this: Disable ALL nonessential or unrecognized extensions on the Add-ons page. Either: Command+Shift+a Tools menu > Add-ons In the left column, click Extensions. Then, if in

doubt, disable. (Or if it's obviously badware, remove.) Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step. Does that help? Note that when you search from Firefox's address bar, searches that do not contain any spaces are checked as possible server names (e.g., intranet or my.web.server). Most DNS servers just report "no such server" and Firefox bounces the query to Google. However, some DNS servers tell Firefox they found the site and display search results. That could be what you're seeing. If this is new, maybe your DNS servers have been changed? (Not sure how to check that on Mac.) 10/15/15, 10:42 AM DNS Solution Yahoo Error Handler https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/errorhandler?hspart=gt&hsimp=yhse-gt&q=(URL of the page I wanted) Search query We did not find results for because dns errors prevented crawler from resolving hostname SafeSearch is active and your query contains some restricted word(s). Try the suggestions below or type a new query above. To search for , change your SafeSearch preferences. This just recently started popping up when I load some news sites. https://support.mozilla.org/questions/993999 It seems to load the article, and then an ad comes in and causes the page to redirect to this error handler. Yahoo is not even my default search. I can usually hit the back button and get the site I wanted, but it's extremely annoying and I don't know what causes it. Chosen solution Hi boriszcat, your Question Details > More System Details shows you are infected with the Searchme extension. Open the Add-ons page using either: Cmd+Shift+a "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right side remove or disable Searchme -- and anything else that you don't need, such as the other 3 Spigot/MyBrowserBar extensions. Bear in mind that all extensions are optional and none are included with Firefox when you first get it. Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step. Does that help you regain control? This might be the tip of a malware iceberg. to handle upload data with size over allowed limit. Possible solutions, problematic situations, communication between client browser (IE and similar) and IIS server. Q1: I have not altered the sample code, but when upload a file larger than limit, I do not get error message -just page not found. Q2: I have been evaluating your software for use at my company. I have not had luck limiting file size. As I am evaluating several products I have not had time to really trouble shoot problems. Maybe you can help me out. Everytime I limit the file size I get: Cannot find server or DNS Error Any ideas why this is happening? I am using your form-Sizelimit.asp sample from your web page. The simpleupload works flawlessly. Introduction The problem is mainly a problem with client browsers - there is no standard for http clients to handle situation when server does not accept the POST request. HTTP/1.1 specifies '413 Request Entity Too Large' status code as a server response for such situation. This message means: The server is refusing to process a request because the request entity is larger than the server is willing or able to process. The server MAY close the connection to prevent the client from continuing the request. Each client has a special 'method' to handle such situation. And IE uses several random messages: 'The page cannot be displayed' the 'Cannot find server or DNS Error' and similar, latest versions of Mozilla shows dialog with 'document contains no data' message, or you can be also redirected to http://localhost.be/ :-). You can see more about this problem on internet (google)at http://groups.google.com/groups?q=upload%20error%20404&hl=cs&lr=&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wg http://www.google.com/search?hl=cs&ie=UTF-8&q=Request+Entity+Too+Large+page+not+found&lr= etc. Some solutions to handle upload data limit. Thereis no ideal way to solve such situation (source data over allowed limit) and there are two half-ideal:
1. Ignore the POST data when the data size is over the limit. This solution is ideal for server-side securit
