address again and it will work, but as it changes what is in the address bar (rather than the normal error page) i have to retype it. It seems to just be a way of advertising and annoying me. Does it to it to every site? For me, with Virgin Media, I had DNS problems with Digital Spy all the time. I eventually reverted to http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=638311 using the IP address rather than the URL: http://212.42.1.205/ Forums: http://212.42.1.205/forums/ If it's with other sites, then it'll be a problem with your DNS settings or with Orange. It happens very quickly so I don't think it is doing a proper DNS check. I can get on here now, but it is VERY annoying. I am not sure where to change the settings and don't want to as I don't think the problem is my end. It will work fine for ages then all of a sudden I can't get to some sites. I also use the laptop on more than one network so don't want to fiddle really. Fiyero View Public Profile Find More Posts by Fiyero

Disable Access Control. Under DHCP settings, if it exists, check any user limits. Set it to around 20 users. Check that the router is assigning IP addresses to your machines. These IPs should be psp dns error in the 192.162.1.xxx range. Check the wireless LED. It should not be blinking. The PSP: Allocate a static and unique IP address (Try 192.162.1.30) Set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0 Set the default gateway address as IP address of the ADSL modem (192.168.1.1) Enter the IP of your ISPs DNS server Also use this IP for the default DNS server You may find that your router uses the IP range of 192.168.0.0. Change the above accordingly if so. #3 26-September-2006, 20:18 Big Frank Guest Posts: n/a Re: Livebox V PSP THis is reallt bugging me know I've tried all the things you mentioned and the psp wouldn't even connect in test mode, so i went back a rescanned for the connection which it picked up and on test showed as internet connection succeeded but when i open the browesr i still get the dns errorr HELP #4 26-September-2006, 21:05 Zer02004 Guest Posts: n/a Re: Livebox V PSP You could try setting the DNS to the router IP, ie 192.168.1.1 but your ISPs DNS servers should work fine.
