you should read this tutorial. I was trying to connect to EA while playing the Need for Speed Hot ps3 dns error 2016 Pursuit on my new PS3 yesterday. It worked fine the first time but after that I kept getting the DNS Error repeatedly. I tried rebooting both my PS3 and the modem/router a couple http://www.gamespot.com/forums/playstation-nation-1000002/dns-error-80710102-26204313/ of times to no avail. Here's what finally did work for me. How to Fix PS3 DNS Error: You should change the DNS address on your PlayStation(not your modem) to some other value. This is what someone suggested on the PlayStation community website. So I tried the addresses from Opendns and it worked just fine for me. How to Change DNS settings: You need to configure http://www.callingallgeeks.org/solved-ps3-dns-error-80710102-on-playstation-network/ your Internet Connection(Wired or Wireless) once again. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings Select Yes, then Custom Choose your connection method - Wired or Wireless If you're Wired, select Auto-Detect for the Ethernet Operation Mode If you're Wireless, select the security type that your router is using and enter your Wireless Password IP Address Settings - Automatic and then Do Not Set (DHCP host name) Now set DNS Settings to Manual and enter the numbers below Primary DNS 208.67.222.222 Secondary DNS 208.67.220.220 Set the rest of the settings as follows: MTU - Automatic Proxy Server - Do Not Use UPnP - Enable Then press X to save the settings, and then X again to test the connection. The ‘Internet Connection' should now pass, and hopefully there will be no more DNS errors! If you have any other PlayStation related questions feel free to ask us via comments. I played BF1943 during the afternoon and I turned my PS3 off. When I turned it on last night it didn't sign in and the 80710092 error message poped up, but I still could ps3 dns error download the patch for Fat Princess. The browser works and it is connected to internet, but it can connect to PSN. Just for the record this is the first time this happens, I didn't change anything in the router or PC. I tried reseting both, but I got the same message. I go to this site to check PSN http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/Network/Status and it doesn't say it's down or up. And when I click on my profile it says "We're sorry. We were unable to process your request. Please try again." When I log out, and try to log in it doesn't pop up the email and pass fields to complete and log in. So, it's not a problem of my PS3, coz I cannot access PSN thru my PC either. Could it be my ISP? Edit: I went to Network Settings and changed it and used the scan option and picked a non secured one from the list and now it works. So, it's my ****ing ISP. These things are hard to solve, oh well. Wish me luck. PLAYING: DRIVER SAN FRANCISCO, TEAM ICO HD COLLECTION, BF3 BETA. GETTING: UNCHARTED 3, BATTLEFIEL
