Platform Exception." The error message is followed by one of these expressions: "Object already exists. Error Code: 2148073487" "Keyset the windows cryptographic service provider error does not exist. Error Code: 2148073494" "Key not valid for use in specified state. Error code: 2148073483" Solution: Re-create the digital ID and/or Crypto folder Do one or both of the following solutions: Re-create the digital ID Open the windows cryptographic service provider reported an error keyset does not exist Acrobat. Choose Advanced > Security Settings. In the list of categories on the left side of the Security Settings window, choose Digital IDs. Select the digital ID with which you were trying to sign the PDF. Click Remove ID. In the confirmation dialog box, click OK. Click Add ID. Follow the onscreen instructions to re-create the digital ID. Click OK. Re-create the Crypto folder Close Acrobat. Re: Digital Signature error Steven.Madwin Dec 10, https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1338805 2013 11:40 AM (in response to ehdean) Hi,The digital ID that you are trying to use to create the digital signature is supposed to be in the Windows Certificate Store, but it's missing, or at least the private key portion of the digital ID is missing. Is your digital ID on a token or smart card? If it is then Windows doesn't really have access to the private key, it just points back to the hardware device even though it looks like the digital ID (also known as a signing credential) is install in the Windows Certificate Store. If you are using a hardware device make sure it's plugged in. If you're not using a hardware device you can try to import the digital ID from a file back into Windows, but you have to have access to the P12/PFX file that contains the digital ID.Steve Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions Actions More Like This Retrieving data ...
