Started by Air , Aug 07 2004 11:09 AM Please log https://forums.pcpitstop.com/index.php?/topic/60986-doom-3-error/ in to reply 11 replies to this topic #1 Air Air Advanced Member Advanced Member 987 posts Gender:Male Posted 07 August 2004 - 11:09 AM Im getting an "ERROR: DLL extraction to fs_savepath failed" error when i try to launch Doom 3, i tried what activevision said to do (update video/sound drivers) but that didnt work, so i tried going to the Doom 3\base folder where the packs are and tried to doom 3 creat a txt file, access is denied. Cant figure out how to get it to allow me or the game to create files in that folder, im loged in as the admin account and still nothing, only does it for the doom 3 game. This is really wierd. Any ideas? No luck i reinstalled a 3rd time to another drive and its working fine now... Weird...
