Drac Error When Reading From Ssl Socket Connection
on 22 Jun 2012 12:49 Verified Answer Verified by jameschangezy Hello James The issue appears to be with the browser trying to connect using old settings that are stored locally. I found an internal article related to this exact issue. Here is a copy/paste of the article: Dell Internal DocumentFirst clear the cache on the browser. This should ressolve the issue. If this fails then check the following: Close all IE sessionsGo to c:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program FilesRight click on 'session viewer' and click removeRight click on'rac5vm control'and click removeClear out your browsing cache again. How To Use Drac Tools
doodad to log into the console of one of our PE servers, I idrac reset button got a rather rude error message: "Login failed: channel in use"The answer suggested at the end of this article reset idrac ssh worked for me - delete the downloaded ActiveX control. In my case, on a windows 2000 client, the file was C:\WINNT\Downloaded Program Files\Session Viewer - deleted it, deletion failed, waited 20 http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/servers/f/177/t/19454169 seconds, tried again, deleted okay, restart IE, and I can use the remote console again. I had something similar happen with one of my servers when attempting to launch the DRAC console "a session to this device already exists".Deleting "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\Session Viewer" followed by http://pyarra.blogspot.com/2010/07/dell-pe1950-drac-console-redirect-error.html an IE restart and a reinstall of the activex control got me squared away.ReplyDelete-December 14, 2012 at 7:01 AMTry removing the entire "Downloaded Program Files" if the above doesn't work and DRAC will recreate it and the files inside of itReplyDeleteAdd commentLoad more... I can get to the Console just fine and I can launch the virtual media applet. I can add a new image. But when I click the "mapped" checkbox it sits for several seconds and then just says "session is not valid, closing viewer" and the JNLP app closes and that is that. I need to be able to mount an ISO image to boot the machine to rescue channel in use media but the DRAC just errors out. Anyone have any ideas?
