05 file from my Dish Network Hopper I tried to record a program tonight, Monday, January 21st at 7 pm directv dvr codes CDT however, the file is in my folder, noted as an error 05 problem. The company's inventory includes DVR and non-DVR receivers. While the receivers may be different, troubleshooting is the same across the board. Customers need to follow the same steps if their receivers fail to turn on, cannot connect to the Internet, or experience hard drive failure. If troubleshooting does not work, DISH customers should contact the company or the receiver's manufacturer. Receiver Does Not Turn on According dvr error to DISH Network, power failures are rare. When they occur, it is typically due to local power outages or faulty surge protectors. There are three troubleshooting options when the receiver fails to turn on. Check the Wall Switch or Power Strip In some cases, the wall switch or power strip might turn off, which makes the receiver turn off as well. Make sure the wall switch or power strip is on and operational. If it is, move on to dvr error code the next option. Push Front Panel Power Button Find the power button on the front panel of the DISH Network receiver. In some models, the button is located inside of the panel door, while others are on the outside. Push the power button. If that does not fix the problem, move on to the final step. Reset the Receiver Unplug the receiver from the wall or power strip. Count to 10 and plug the receiver back in to the wall or power strip. Wait for the receiver to reset. This might take five minutes. Then, see if the receiver powers on. The final option only works if the issue is limited to a single receiver. Cannot Connect to the Internet The DISH Network receiver needs to connect to the Internet to update content and provide access to movies, TV shows, and premium titles. If it the receiver fails to connect to the Internet, check the connection. If it is set up properly, troubleshoot the connection. Check the Connection DISH customers connect receivers to the Internet using an Ethernet cable, power line broadband connector, or Wi-Fi broadband connector. Each option uses a different setup process. Make sure the connection is set up properly before starting the troubleshooting process. Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 598 The Hopper did not recognize some of the EHD models manufactured with a previous software version, which should be corrected now. I have a Hopper and a WD 1.5 TB EHD. I have it connected to my Hopper and I don't have any issues viewing my saved content. The Hopper is part of the 622 receiver family. I used my EDH first with my 722, 922, and now my Hopper.
