Moneypak Discussion in 'Malware Removal' started by orkneyroad, Aug 30, 2012. orkneyroad Private E-2 I found that my laptop was infected by Moneypak FBI. Unaware of the problems this malware can cause, I attempted the old-school trick of reviving a stuck computer by unplugging and removing the battery while the "ransom" notice was stuck on my screen (complete with my ugly mug staring back at me). On restart, I received a RunDLL error "Error loading C:\Users\%user%\AppData\Local\Temp\iop0_cha.exe - The specified module could not be found." I did not find any other internet/network connectivity issues or apparent operating system problems and ran through the READ & RUN ME FIRST guide. Logs are attached. Still, no apparent issues and no RunDLL error on restart. Question - Do you also need the logs found in the RougueKiller Quarntine File? I am running Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 and COMODO Internet Security v3.13.
