Check that you have the correct type of project selected (console application?) and that you are creating a .exe file instead of .lib or .dll. I've only ever gotten this message when I've forgotten to add an 1

On the General tab, remove the value for Additional Library Directories. On the Input tab, remove the two CXML libraries, leaving just kernel32.lib. Click OK and then rebuild the solution. If the build is successful using a native TDP / compiler that means your TDP may not be finalized So could you tell us what is the used TDP and compiler leading to the error ?
