Also, have you checked your system for duplicate instances of psapi.dll ? If there are multiple versions, find the newest and register the DLL with regsvr32.exe as the message would suggest you are running with an old version that lacks the entry point identified in the message, or an old version has been registered and the newer one hasn't. I've already browsed the forums for help and none of the suggestions solve the problem. I have a clean install of Oracle 10g in c:\oracle\product\10.2\client_1 The installation of ODT and ODAC https://community.oracle.com/thread/559298?start=0 defaults to a new home - "c:\oracle\product\10.2\client_1" but the installation gives me the following error: The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic library PSAPI.DLL and then acts as if the installation is successful but when trying to access Oracle Application Debugging I get "Package has failed to load properly". If someone could give me the solution to this I would be very grateful. Thanks. 10158Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 4 replies 1. Re: PSAPI.DLL installation error Christian.Shay -Oracle Sep 20, 2007 4:06 PM (in response to 599008) Try deinstalling the Java VM and then running the Oracle Installer. You currently have installed a newer version of the Java VM that requires a newer version of PSAPI.DLL. The one that Oracle Installer uses does not contain the entry point that the new JVM wants. So if you uninstall JVM and let Oracle install the one that comes with Oracle Installer the install should succeed. L

I didn't, but you should be aware and getprocessimagefilenamew psapi.dll error possibly try first with that one DLL left alone. This problem was debugged using ProcessExplorer to ask folks (other processes) WHERE their PSAPI came from...
