See Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems and Troubleshoot issues with plugins like Flash or Java to fix common Firefox problems Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems See Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files) See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Transferring_data_to_a_new_profile_-_Firefox Read this answer in context 1 Question tools Get email updates when anybody replies. when a solution is found. Came up empty on on-line searches for the entry point. Anybody know if this is a valid entry point or a coding problem with Netscape - never have seen it before.Edit:This is not limited to Netscape. Pretty much everything I've tried to open this morning is giving this error. · actions · 2004-Jul-18 9:29 am · POBRes Firma Mitescere NescitPremium Memberjoin:2003-02-13Stepford, CA POB Premium Member 2004-Jul-18 1:39 pm So you get the entry point kernal32.dll error surfing in Netscape and a few other programs you haven't named. Have you checked the event viewer in admin tools to see exactly what's causing it? How about a hard reboot of the system, what happens after that? Kernal32.dll errors can be caused by pretty much anything from Adobe to software firewalls. That's why it's important to check the event viewer. What is your OS? We're going to need a lot more information than what you originally supplied to get any kind of clue in to what may be responsible for the error. · actions · 2004-Jul-18 1:39 pm · davePremium Memberjoin:2000-05-04not in ohio1 edit dave to RWild Premium Member 2004-Jul-18 2:17 pm to RWildI'd say the program, 'netscp.exe', is corrupted. The entry point is named 'DeleteCriticalSection', not something involving small-o-accent-grave like it says in the error message. Conclusion: something's scrabled the import list for netscp.exe.--Hmm, didn't notice the part that said it applied to more than one program. OK, that makes it a little harder to figure out. There is still not likely to be anything called DeleteCòiticalSection in kernel32.dll, but I'm not quite sure where the broken part is. · actions · 2004-Ju
