Playing DVD discs and burned backups of original dvds Started by songohan7777, May 23 2006 01:34 AM Please log in to reply 2 replies to this topic #1 songohan7777 songohan7777 Members 4 posts Posted 23 May 2006 - 01:34 AM For some reason when I back up my dvds on Verbatim DVD-Rs, they work like 1 out of every 5 or 10 times in my DVD player. Can somebody please help me? Regular pressed DVDs usually work fine, although some don't work at all. Can you guys play DVD+Rs in your AVIC-N2 even though it was designed to play DVD-Rs? I tried changing the booktype to DVD-ROM, but that didn't work. It finds the dvd and then says ERROR 02-99. Please help! Thanks, John Back to top #2 songohan7777 songohan7777 Members 4 posts Posted 23 May 2006 - 05:28 AM I forgot to state that by DVD player I meant my AVIC-N2. Please respond. Back to top #3 justiz justiz Member Members 32 posts Posted 23 May 2006 - 06:22 PM I've played store-bought dvd's, dvd+r's, and dvd+rw's with no problems. Just make sure that you are burning a DVD with VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders correctly.
