Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook? Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus

You can try to re-define the subscriptions to the folders to see if that will resolve the issue. The error you're seeing is a generic internal Microsoft error - it unfortunately has nothing to do with our servers. The worst case scenario would be to delete and then re-create the account. I would suggest trying rebuild the subscriptions first, if that doesn't work, then try rebuild the account, or use the Microsoft repair option for their files - they have a utility to help rebuild their files.
