I get two different errors:1)An error occurred while attempting to open the Windows Address Book. Unable to find the WAB.DLL.2)Unable to update public free/busy data. An error occurred while attempting to open the Windows Address Book. Unable to find the WAB.DLLI've been searching the web, with no concrete results for 7. I've found references for everything from Win 95 up through Vista, but, not 7.As I understand it, these are included in Outlook express, which, of course isn't available in 7. Each reference it to 'reinstall OE'. 7 doesn't give you that option, as its not a native application to 7.One reference s
Windows 7: Missing WAB.dll Outlook 2000 in Internet Only mode errors on Vista and Windows 7 because the WAB (Windows Address Book) it uses for its address book is missing. You can try copying the WAB.dll and registering http://www.outlook-tips.net/how-to/missing-wab-dll/ it. This will fix one error but you may have other issues. Browse to C:\Program http://arstechnica.com/civis/viewtopic.php?t=818752 Files\Common Files\System (on your Vista or Windows 7 computer) and copy wab32.dll and wab32res.dll to C:\Windows\System32 Register the DLL's by copying the following commands and pasting into the Run prompt (press Windows key + R to open Run): First type or paste into the Run command and press Enter regsvr32 wab32.dll then repeat with regsvr32 wab32res.dll We highly recommend not error 0x800ccc0f doing this unless there is some compelling reason why you need Outlook 2000 installed on Vista or Windows 7. Vista's Mail and Calendar programs are a viable replacements for Outlook 2000. (Windows 7 doesn't include a mail client.) If you are using Outlook because you like Word's spell check as you type, the Windows Live Desktop Mail client provides "spell check as you type". It also includes a calendar. Mail or Live Desktop Mail do send receive error not support Archiving but you can use rules to move messages based on conditions or drag them to another folder to archive. There may be 3rd party Archiving tools you can use to archive email.Published January 16, 2011. Last reviewed on April 9, 2013.

Two work perfectly, but one of them always times out *while sending* after about 20 minutes with this error message:The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server.Server response: '572 Relay no authorized.'(Account: 'namewithheld@hisISP.com', SMTP server: 'hisISP.com', Error Number: 0x800ccc0f).However, if after getting this error he then does another Send/Receive Email, it f'ing WORKS PROPERLY. So the result is that he has to do a Send/Receive twice for this account to actually send mail. The other email accounts work fine each time.(He noted that this seems to have become prevalent about 3-4 weeks ago. Before that, he can't recall having this problem. He did have this problem last year, but it seemed to have gone away on its own. His HD then died this past February, at which point I installed Win2K, Office2K, and the other apps he was using -- which brings us to today, pretty much.)My first research was to search the MSKB; a few records were found when I searched on "connection unexpectedly terminated", "error 572", and "0x800ccc0f" but none that provided any direct assistance. (Some referred to specific problems with Exchange, Yahoo POP mail, and MSN.)Then, I Googled it. Found a number of instances of the hex number, but precious little on re
