I can send a small number of emails but as soon as I try to send more than 10 emails at the same time, Outlook thinks it has https://community.norton.com/en/forums/error-message-10039-when-sending-more-10-emails sent them but in fact they never arrive at their destination. I have this problem on 3 PCs. On one PC I get .... Error : "Your email message to [.....] with the subject [....] was unable to be sent ..." (1003,9). The emails can be very small and the problem still happens. Turning email scanning and antispam off doesn't help. This problem was reported in another message on 13th November 2008 on this board called Error message 1003,9 Does anyone have a resolution? However I did use another account and tried Help from Mail and got the same error. Went back to my main account and Help.app was taxing my CPU (1 core) at 100%.Will try the trashing files shortly. The Symantec Email Proxy pops-up like crazy saying that email message was unable to be sent.... 1003,11 whenever the internet connection is turned on. Though I ran Symantec Antivirus full scan, the problem still persists. FYI, the same time my PC got infected with this Symantec Email Proxy pop-ups, it also got infected with Hacktool Rootkit (detected by Symantec Antivirus, then cleaned automatically. This Hacktool rootkit infection keeps persisting though I have turned System Restore off, then ran Symantec Antivirus full scan in safe mode, reporting no threats) So my PC now faces 2 infections : Symantec Email Proxy pop-ups and Hacktool Rootkit.
