Here's what I've done: 1) Ran MEMTEST error 1003 v4 twice, NO errors 2) updated ALL drivers, from NIC, BIOS, video, to chipset 3) reinstalled XP but did NOT format Machine STILL crashes with BSODs. Before the reinstall I did see 'DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and a 'PFN_LIST_CORRUPT', both which appear to point to RAM problems. I even went back to use the original RAM chips but it continues to crash. Should I attach the .dmp files/crash log as well? Here are the 2 errors; the 2nd indicates Symantec system error 1003 Anti Virus is being disabled. Checked out Event log. Have the following detail: Source: System Error Category: (102) Event ID: 1003 Description: Error code 1000000a Parameters 90552e10, 00000002, 00000000, 8051ec73. Unplugged all the peripherals - still the system errors. Reinstalled Windows XP - same system errors. Took components to Supplier whose workshop tested all the components. They replaced Seagate HDD after not passing the Seatools test. Reinstalled Windows. Still the system errors. Can anyone advise me as to what causes this errors and what can I do next? Problem hopefully solved: Ran SeaTools (Seagate HDD) - error in file system. Repartitioned and formatted with latest version of Seagate DiscWizard.
