The [ path ] may be a path like C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\ or it may be another path. Details You do not have write access to the folder displayed in the error message. You must perform Installations as Administrator or SYSTEM on Windows, however you may not have access to create folders in certain directories. Solutions Do one or more of the following solutions: Note: All solutions require that you be logged in as Administrator or as a user that is an Administrator. Solution 1: Set the proper permissions on the folder in question -- Windows 2000: 1. Double click on My Computer. 1. Right click on the parent folder contained within the error and select Properties. For example: If the error said "Error 1317... C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe...", then right click on Application Data and select Properties. 2.
