I see that 2014 had the same issue. Does not seem to have a real fix that I can tell for 2014. I tried a few options from the forum but still cannot get it to install. Same message. It is something like, wizard was interrupted before Nero could be completely installed. Nothing has been modified. I emailed support, but I wanted to see if someone here could help and get me going on this upgrade. 21 people havethis problem +1 follow Solved 6358540 Link Short URL Reply Official Response EMPLOYEE Demote Remove NeroUser (Employee) September 23, 2014 10:41 Hi All, @Savatore: Thanks for the feedback. DVD project taking over 13 hours to burn headsnack View Member Profile Dec 15 2010, 07:32 PM Post #1 Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 15-December 10 Member No.: 8,869,247 I'm using Nero 8 Home Essentials and have updated all of the software that comes with it (including Nero Vision 5). I've also installed the latest drivers for my DVD writer, a GearHead Lightscribe 24x DVD +/- R. The software came bundled with the DVD burner. My system is an AMD Anthlon II Quad core with 4gb of ram running Windows XP S3.My discs are Memorex Lightscribe DVD+R 16XI spent hours creating a dvd with menus, videos and a slide show. I had to abort the burn after 15 hours. I have about 900GB of free space. I just built the computer last week so I don't think it has anything to do with temporary files.I'm not sure about the virtual memory so I'm assuming that Windows is controlling it. wither View Member Profile Dec 18 2010, 03:23 AM Post #4 Advanced Member Group: Members Posts: 21,667 Joined: 30-August 08 Member No.: 8,132,427 It doesn't take much to load up temporary files and if they're not cleaned out periodically, it will affect Nero.I think that you can set virtual memory in Xp to 3x physical RAM. I know you can in Vista and Win 7. In your case you could set virtual memory (page files) to 12000 Mb for both the low and high settings. What I'd like to see is the NeroVisionlog.txt file. It should be in a path similar to this- C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Roaming\Nero\Nero 10\Nero Vision. Please post it. headsnack View Member Profile Dec 18 2010, 06:15 PM Post #5 Newbie Group: Members Posts: 5 Joined: 15-December 10 Member No.: 8,869,247 I've just cleaned out my temporary files.I'm able to set virtual memory.
