It then modifies the [INSTALLDIR] or uses the default directory if it cannot find one. This part works fine and it does install correctly, though when it tries to uninstall itself it is displaying the error msg: "Could not access network location 0" at the very start of the uninstall wizard. I have read the KB articles relating to this but could not access they don't seem to help and it is install correctly. Any ideas on how to fix this one would be appreciated... I would also try going through the property values (set in property manager or via custom action) to make sure that nothing is set to 0. I would check the registry to find out where a certain program was install and then build my install path based on that. If that registry entry wasn't there I would get the "network location 0" error. Either the program you're looking at to get the path is no longer on the system or the .dll you're using isn't running during the uninstall. Is this a silent uninstall? Those are the first 2 things I could think of that might cause this problem. It's now over 2 weeks without backing up my device and I'm now sort of panicking. Twitter: @IAmBenGiey | Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
